All students can succeed when math instruction becomes personalized to their individual needs. Sokikom tailors and adjusts each student's math activities based on their specific needs. Students can select from various games covering different math concepts and curriculum areas.

Placement and continuous adjustments

Each game places students at the appropriate level and continues to adjust based on student performance. A list of activities shows students their performance and provides additional support when needed.

Guided-discovery learning

Sokikom's games use a guided-discovery learning model where kids feel safe to explore different solutions to problems. This results in a deep conceptual understanding of mathematics. In Frachine, the fraction learning game for grades 1-6, students have the ability to check different solutions to an answer. This provides support to struggling students and allows advanced students to progress beyond grade level.

Real improvements

Increases in math test scores are supported through Sokikom Challenges, which are fun, timed activities resembling math quizzes. Challenges offer self-paced questions within a compelling environment, motivating students to improve their scores.

Animated instructional lessons

Lastly, software helps emulate the type of instruction given by the most effective teachers. Sokikom determines when a student needs additional help and can provide support through very specific instructional lessons. Over one hundred animated lessons teach students how to solve various types of math problems.

Sokikom (so-kee-kom) motivates elementary-age students in an exciting math social learning game. Developed for kids in grades 1-6, Sokikom emphasizes real-time cooperation and collaboration to engage students in developing math skills and in helping each other learn math.

Parents and educators who want to log in to their control panels need to enter their email address into the top field. NOTE: If you are a first-time using parent or educator, you need to login to your control panel first in order to add children/students.
For those who want to play Sokikom's games and have already been added by a parent or educator, enter your username into the top field. Most usernames will have 6 letters followed by a number.
